Crooked Police

I cant believe it! In Tenaha, Texas police have seized up to 3 million dollars of money belonging to drivers passing through! I cant believe that police would basically steal all that money from people when they are supposed to be the ones upholding our laws. Its outrageous!

Schools Almost Out!

Finally! Our year long torture is about to end. No more homework or annoying teachers telling us what to do. The only thing I will miss about summer is that I wont be able to see most of my friends every day. Oh and also, now that school is out I have to go get a job.

Its just a stupid thing to do. When you first start learning to drive they tell you to always pay attention to the road. You cant exactly do that when your texting, now can you? Turn the phone off and wait till your not driving, its not that hard people! There are hundreds, if not more, of crashes each year just because drivers cant wait to message people until they get out of the car.

The Worst Movie Ever!

Cars is the worst movie ever. Its all my cousins watch when they come over to my house. I swear if I have to watch that movie one more time im going to scream.

Cell Phone Monitoring

Im kind of in between about this idea of software that helps your parents track your cell phone activity. It could be useful in many ways. But also in some cases it might be considered an invasion of privacy.

Pencasts

Thes "pencasts" sound pretty helpful. I have problems reading my notes sometimes so if I can hear them again it would be extremely useful. Truthfully beyond that I dont really understand what they are.

Phishing

It all makes sense to me. All you have to do is not open emails from websites that you've never heard of and don't follow links from an email. It seems pretty simple. Just use common sense and you're good to go. Never sign to a website you haven't heard of and NEVER give out personal information to shady looking websites.

Twitter Could Be Dangerous?

I don't believe this at all. Websites aren't causing people to be desensitized to human pain or suffering. That's just because some people just don't care, which isn't right. Also admiration, another feeling we all have. There isn't one person in this world who doesn't at least look for someone to admire. The bottom line is that I don't believe that we are being desensitized by the Internet.

After reading this I had a whole new definition for idiot. What was he thinking, robbing a cop at a police officer's convention. What made him think he could possibly get away from 300 or more cops? All I know is this, you shouldn't rob people but if you are going to don't do it around a whole crowd of cops.

Twitter

Twitter sounds like a pretty interesting thing going on. It's seems like its alot like other social networks. Which could be a problem, because that means the chances of someone making a site that will compete or surpass it are pretty good. I think it might be worth checking out, even if you have no intention of joining.

Facebook Guidance Counselor?

This is an exremely convenient thing for students searching for a college that is located far away. Instead of having to travel to the school itself they can take online tours and talk to current students enrolled in the school to see what college life there is like. Also schools can find out what students really think about them by looking at thier facebook page and try to change themselves to become a better school.

Chicza Chewing Gum

I think that its a good idea to have a biodegradable chewing gum. It cuts back on expenses for cleaning streets and sidewalks. One drawback though is the price, its $2.06 for a 12-piece pack! Most people will just buy the cheaper stuff because of the price. I'm thinking that the flavor should last extremely long for a pack of gum that costs that much.

Protestors and Technology

Of course protestors have the upper hand in technology. They have different ways of meeting and talking that lets them never have to meet. It has become impossible for police to track protestors without breaking the laws they are supposed to uphold. There are phones, different scoial networks, and many other de3vices that has made this possible.

Facebook's Not Making Money?

Im not surprised at all that Facebook and other social business' are not making as much money as they thought they would. They don't charge thier users for an account, which is probably a good thing because they would not have as many customers as they do now. But if they did they would more than quadruple their annual income.

Tabacco Tax

Recently there has been a new tax on all tabacco products and I think this might stop younger people from beginning to smoke. The economy is so bad the younger generation is having problems making money as it is, why would they waste even more money for something that my relax you but cause you health problems? Smoking just leads to spending more money. First theres the money for the cigarettes themselves, then theres the hospital bills because smoking lowers the immune system and you get sick more. All in all I believe its just a waste of money, plus it causes all sorts of health problems.

Do Part-time Jobs Hinder Schoolwork?

I think that if anything they would help. Sure you have less time to do your homework, but a job gives you a better sense of responsibility. In fact I'm getting one myself, And I can't wait to finally get a job.

Wiffleball

Wiffleball is the most retarded sport ever played in a gym class. All it is a chep knock off of baseball, and I dont really like playing that very much either. If you mess up once everyone gets on your case, as if it actually matters! I hate the sport mainly for that reason right there, everyone gets way too serious and I will not play if all thats going to happen is people yelling at each other.

Jerks

Im getting really tired of all the people out there who think they are better than anyone else. I think they all need to be put in there place. They have no right to act the way they do they're just as good, or bad, as everyone els on this planet. People just need to stop and think about what they do to others and stop being jerks.

Religion In Schools

I think that the Pledge of Allegiance or prayer in school should be allowed. Not have us forced to do one thing or another. I belive that its your own personal choice whether or not you want to show your patriotism or personal belief to others.

Recession Proof Jobs

There is only one recession proof job out there that is guaranteed- auto repair. During good times there are people who get their car repaired to save money and in bad times, like now, everyone gets their car fixed because new cars are way too expensive. Either way you win! So for all of you grease monkeys out there, good luck!

The year 2109....

If my school had a time capsule put together the one thing I would put in there to signify my generation is an MP3 Player filled with songs by all the best musical atrists of this generation. This wopuld give the people of 2109 a feel for what we considered music. Who knows it might even resurrect a type of music that died out between now and then.

St. Patricks Day

The reason St. Patricks Day is celebrated is because St. Patrick spent thirty years building and setting up monastries and places of worship all around Ireland, and as anyone who has been to Ireland will know, religion is a big part of being Irish. St. Patrick was a fifth-century English missionary to Ireland. Scholars agree he is a historical figure and that he converted many of the pagans on the island to Christianity.

The Crow

Yesterday I watched the newest installment in The Crow movie series. All the movies are about how a couple are tragically killed. Then the man would be brought back to life and have a crow as his source of life. As long as the crow lives he cannot be hurt.

Friends

What makes good friends? That is a question peolpe are always asking. In my opinion a good friend is someone who accepts you for who you are, not how you look or act. Another trait of a good friend is that they stick with you.

Why We Drop Out

I think most people drop out of school because they cant stand being told what to do by other people. I can understand that, I hate being told what to do. Especially by people who have no idea what they are doing. Also it can be hard to get along with people at school, whether its because your shy or everyone is a jerk.

What's Funny

You wanna know whats funny? The planet Uranus! There just isn't a way to say that and be serious about it. For example if someone comes up to you and asks if you would like to see a picture of Uranus the first thing you do is laugh! You just can't hear that word and not laugh!

Glasses

I hate wearing glasses. Every freaking year I have to get a new pair because I am always messing around and breaking them. Its annoying! I wish I could just get contacts but my grandparents won't pay for them because they say that they are too expensive. Luckily I never have to pay for a new pair. I dont remember why, but I can get one new pair every year.

Education

I think that education is very important. I think that if people weren't educated nobody would know how to do anything useful. The world would be full of idiots who don't know what to do. All in all education is one of the most important things that a person can be given.

The Best Book I've Ever Read

The best I have ever read so far isn't a book, it's a series of them. Its the "Wheel of Time" series. There are 13 books in the series and so far I have read 9 of them. The books are about a boy who is a sheepherder, He lives alone with his father on their farm. Until one day his farm is attacked by creatures called trollocs and they are saved by an Aes Sedai, a person who has magical powers. He soon learns that he is not who he thought he was. If you want to now more look them up and read them!

My Weekend

My weekend wasn't so bad for once. Since we finally had a nice day on Friday I spent most of my day outside doing work or just messing around. It felt so good to be able to go outside without freezing after all winter! I worked in my neighbors yard all Saturday. Sunday It was a little colder, but I still went outside and enjoyed it. Then I went to youth group and hung out with some friends from Quincy. All in all, one of my better weekends.

Music

Music is my whole life. It provides life with a rhythm, a beat. Without it everything would be the same, dull and boring. There would be less ways for someone to be able to express themselves fully. Music is just gives the world energy and personality.

Vacations

My family rarely ever goes on vacations. And whenever we do it usually turns into a disaster. I live with my grandma and she nags all the time. So anytime we're doing anything fun she usually tells us to stop and act our age. So usually our vacations end up kinda boring. The only time they're any fun is when its a family reunion. bgecause then we can get away and have some fun in the woods near the campsite.

Homecoming

I don't really care about homecoming. I dont go to any of the parties or the game. I completely ignore the fact that its even taking place. All in all I beleive Homecoming is a complete waste.

Going Back

If I could go back and change one thing in my life it would be the death of my mother. I know that if she hadn't died I would not have all the opportunities I do today, but I dont care. I'd lose all the opportunities I have today for her to still be alive. Because what's a life where you have no mother?

The Cardinals Lost

The Super Bowl was freakin awesome. For most of the game The Steelers were winning. That made a Cardinals fan like me want to beat someone. Then the Cardinals made a comeback and was all of a sudden winning!! But in the last 30 seconds they gave the Steelers the ball and let them get a touchdown. Once again the Cardinals were losing. And the game went downhill from there and the Cardinals lost it all.

Favorite Show

My favorite TV show is "Scarred". Its a show that MTV airs that shows what happens to idiots who make mistakes. It pretty much shows what can happen when your just biking or even skating. Most of the things are just little mistakes in judgement and WHAM, next thing you now someone is in the emergency room with their arm bent backwards. It can be pretty funny sometimes, but also makes you feel really sorry for the people it happens to.

My Biggest Fear

My biggest fear is heights. Its sounds really stupid but that's what I'm scared of. It doesn't really bother me until I get really high up. Then I really start to freak out. I start getting really jumpy and paranoid. If I'm with anyone I start telling them to get me the heck down. It doesn't sound like much, but hey everyones got problems. Who am I to be different from everyone else?

Brothers

Brothers are the worst thing anyone can have. You buy crap that is for yourself only and the next time you turn around you see them messing with it! It never fails! For example, I bought the new Linkin Park CD and the first time I went to listen to it I couldnt find it. Lo and behold, I go to ask my brothers if they know where it is and my brother is listening to it in his stereo! If you ever have a choice never ever have a brother, and sisters can be even worse.

Tonight's Dinner

If I could go with anyone for dinner tonight I would go with Chasey Lane. I've been told she is a great actress. She's even had a song named after her! I have no idea what we would talk about but it would be awesome.

5 Years From Now

My Favorite Childhood Memory

My favorite childhood memory is when I was three and I hit my little brother in the head with a tonka truck and knocked him out. He would not leave me alone and let me play. So I hit him as hard as I could and he was out! Its also about the only thing I can remember.

The Nicest Thing I've Ever Done

The nicest thing I have ever done is pay for my cousins to get into a DecemberRadio concert. They didnt have the money to get in so I paid for all of us, me and two cousins. It broke me for awhile, and quite frankly I'm still broke.

Rainy Days

The best thing to do on rainy days is stay inside, turn on some awesome music, and become dead to the world. When there is nothing to do it is very relaxing. It gives you time to just kick back, relax, and think about anything and everything.

If I Could Be Any Animal

If I could be any animal I would be a sloth because they can sleep up to 23 hours a day. I love to sleep! If i was a sloth i would just spend most of my day sleeping. I cant do that now because light bothers me when I try to sleep.

Favorite Cartoon

My favorite cartoon from when i was little was the original Transformer series. The new ones look bad and seem less realistic. I know giant talking robots arent real, but the old cartoon series made it seem like it could be possible. I loved it. There was robots trying to save the world and ones trying to kill us all. It was awesome!

Famous

If i could be famous for anything I would want to be famous for being a better radio host than anyone else. All the hosts play the same songs over and over again, but if I could be one the same song would never be heard twice in one day. One time I heard "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder 5 times in one day! Its ridiculous. So, I wiould be famous for being the only one that doesn't do that. If only wishes came true.......
